Risk disclosure
Trading forex, CFDs and crypto carries a high risk of losing money, including all of it. Only trade money you can afford to lose. Past performance and simulations are not a guide to the future.
Why this page exists
Xaqzevoruli publishes rule-based trading software information and, in time, introductions to executing brokers. Before you decide anything, you should know how people lose money. This page lists the main ways. It is general information, not advice, and it cannot cover every risk.
You can lose all the money you trade
Forex, contracts for difference (CFDs) and crypto are volatile. Prices can move far and fast. You can lose your whole deposit, sometimes within minutes. Only trade money you can afford to lose and never money you need for living costs, rent, debts or emergencies.
Leverage makes losses larger
Leverage lets you control a position much larger than your deposit. A small price move against you then becomes a large loss relative to your money. Depending on the broker and the rules where you live, a loss can exceed your deposit. Ask the broker, in writing, whether you are protected against negative balances.
Loss rates
Regulators in some places require brokers to publish the percentage of retail client accounts that lose money when trading CFDs. The figure differs by broker and by period. The figure for the broker we list is in the broker table on the registration page, with its date and source. It changes, so check the broker's own website for the current one. Find it in the risk warning on your broker's website before you open an account, and treat it as a serious warning: it describes what happened to people like you.
Stops, gaps and slippage
A stop is an instruction, not a promise. In fast markets, at weekends and around news, prices can jump past your stop and your order can fill at a much worse price. Spreads can widen sharply. Trading can be paused. Any of these can turn a planned small loss into a large one.
Software and rules carry their own risk
Rule-based software does exactly what its rules say, including when the rules are poor. A rule that fitted last year's market may fail in this one. Software can contain errors, lose its connection or stop responding. You remain responsible for every order sent in your name and for monitoring what the software does. A halt control reduces some risks but cannot stop a loss that has already happened.
Past performance and simulations
Past performance is not a guide to the future. Charts, calculators and simulations on this site are illustrative, not live data and not a prediction. They show arithmetic, not results you should expect.
Brokers and where your money sits
Xaqzevoruli does not hold your money. Any trading money sits with an executing broker licensed for your country. A broker can fail, freeze withdrawals or change its terms. Protection schemes, where they exist, have limits and do not cover trading losses. Check the broker's regulator and licence number on the regulator's own register.
Costs reduce what you keep
Spreads, commissions, overnight financing, currency conversion and withdrawal fees are charged by brokers and payment providers. An account needs a deposit from $250 AUD (or £250 GBP / €250 EUR / $250 CAD / $250 NZD / $250 SGD). Costs apply whether you win or lose.
Crypto assets
Crypto prices can fall to zero. Some crypto products are unregulated in your country, and you may have no route to compensation if something goes wrong.

Conflicts of interest
Xaqzevoruli is a software vendor and marketing affiliate. We receive rebates and referral fees from partner brokers. That gives us a reason to want you to open an account. Read the explanation on our About page and weigh what we say accordingly.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to trade. If you are unsure, speak to an independent, qualified adviser before you trade.
Emotions and behaviour
Fear, greed and the wish to win back a loss lead many people to take bigger risks than they planned. Set your limits before you start, write them down and do not change them in the middle of a losing run. If you notice that you are trading to feel better or to repay a debt, stop. Talking to someone you trust before you place a trade can help you see the risk more clearly, and nothing on this site should be treated as a reason to hurry.
Availability
Availability depends on where you are. Access is restricted in some countries and the list may change. Where trading is offered, it is only through an executing broker licensed for your country.
Get help
If trading is harming your finances or wellbeing, stop and seek support from an independent debt or mental health service in your country. You can also write to us at [email protected]. See the contact page.
